Here are the top newborn photography questions my client’s ask to get the most out of your session:
What should we wear?
It’s best to avoid logos, really busy patterns, & matching outfits. Make sure you feel COMFORTABLE in what you are wearing and, most importantly, be yourselves and love what you have on. I want the pictures to showcase who YOU are.
I create pinterest boards before each session that showcase some clothing ideas that would compliment the session…because let’s face it, you have plenty to focus on without having to create outfit ideas from scratch.
For newborn sessions, I always recommend bringing three changes of clothes, one outfit that you can relax in for behind the scenes, one outfit that you feel and look great in for pictures with your newborn, and a black long-sleeved shirt.
Should I bring props to my session?
I carry all sorts of props for your session to be unique. However, I always welcome families to bring in props or articles of clothing that they adore and/or that have special significance to incorporate into the session.
Where will my session take place?
I service the entire Greater Vancouver and Lower Mainland areas. My primary studio is located in Coquitlam, BC, where I do the most of my studio work. I also LOVE shooting outdoors and getting some of those beautiful natural colours that we have in abundance on the West Coast as the seasons change.
Can I reschedule my session?
Of course, things come up. I do appreciate at least 48 hours notice and 72 hours notice for cake smashes however so I can arrange my schedule and to allow another client to fill the spot as I only take limited sessions each month.
What happens after my session?
In 3 weeks time, you will return to my studio for a full gallery viewing over dessert and coffee/tea. At this time, you will be able to select fine art prints and products customized to how you want to showcase your images in your home and select gift options for family and friends. You will also have the opportunity to request any retouches before finalizing your gallery.
Final delivery of your order can be expected within 2 weeks to provide time for any retouch requests, ordering and shipping time, as well as my personal inspection of each product to ensure it meets my high standard of quality.
